Well, 4th request is mine too. It's a big problem for ordinary player.

RohoMech - I'm not on a PC right now but in WinAmp I thought that it was pretty easy to delete files that appear in a playlist (a "remove" button at the bottom of the playlist or something?).

I think that it should be possible to turn off "avoid consecutive similar songs in shuffle" if it is implemented. Things that try to be cleaver are often irritating (paperclip anyone?).

---1. Flag songs/albums/folders as “never play randomly” for Christmas and holiday tunes, novelty tunes, audiobooks, movie quotes. They should play when double clicked, or when in a playlist, but otherwise no. ---

I would also include podcasts and internet radio... I listen to SomaFM and I marked several of the stations with five stars so now and then when I'm shuffling my top rated it hits this station and stays there until I realize what happened.

As for your points 2, 3 and 4 I total agree. I'd love it if when a song is skipped it would be marked as played...

Good Job Hanford!

I totally agree with #3, it happens to me with winamp all the time, I'll delete the file from the playlist....and cringe a moment later, knowing its on my hard-drive...somewhere...just waiting...waiting to be added back onto another playlist....the horror, the horror
