Dear Apple
Here’s a tip: A “progress bar” should go from left to right, and never go backwards.

Yours doesn’t. It goes from left to right, and when it just about reaches the end, it hops back to the beginning with a new “status” message, so it never really shows you how far along you are. That’s retarded. Literally.

Yeah,
really stupid of Apple, but no less stupid of you … installing iTunes while there are far better tools for managing your iPod on Windows

I prefer iTunes over MuschMatch Jukebox (even though I’m a lifetime member of MMJB), but there’s a lot of stuff I don’t like about iTunes and the iPod. Mainly it’s tendency to to want to play your music back alphabetically (especially on the iPod).

Agreed. But funny how you can get over that damn ulgy Windows UI though! Nothing like hangin’ on to those mid-1990’s buttons and graphics for dear life, huh?

Yeah, I’m still runnning Windows 2000. I need to get with the program.
Apple’s blue aqua UI is wearing thin a bit, too. The ribbed design of dialogs are reminicent of the original iMacs, which have not been in production for years now ….

no offense but thats a true status for each thing thats its doing, liken it to decompressing, once one file is decompressed it starts another hence the new status bar. its upto whoever made the program as to how the status bar will be not the computer. Go now and be at peace with your OS my son.
LOL

Yes, that’s correct. I’m complaining about Apple, who wrote iTunes, not Microsoft, who is the maker of my OS, as the screenshot (I thought) clearly indicated. I’m quite happy with Windows (overall).
