I especially like the part in the release that reads "We will gather input from the Director user community as we explore opportunities for features to include in the next version." If they really follow through with this part, how could we *not* see an update to Shockwave3D this time around!? Boy, oh boy! This is such great news!

I readily admit that the FAQ isn't as meaty as folks would like in terms of feature commitments, but at least it provides a solid public statement that a major release of Director and the Shockwave Player is underway and that the company sees value in continuing to invest in the Director/Shockwave ecosystem.
