Tom Higgins from Adobe (formerly Macromedia) has announced a free update to Director and Shockwave, including Flash 8 support, Quicktime fixes, and a new “covert” command that will allow us Director developers to leverage Flash 8’s new effects like Blur and glow. Amazing! Even though I rarely use Flash, I am looking forward to this. Thanks for announcing it, Tom!
